Overview
Maryhurst provides treatment programs for severely traumatized children who are victims of sexual, physical, and/or emotional abuse. The organization serves more than 600 children and their families through nine programs that address their unique needs.
ResponsibilitiesThe Community Support Associate works directly with individual clients and their families in the community and related settings (e.g., schools, summer programs, home environments). The role focuses on supporting the clinical process and achieving the goals of the family, client, and treatment team. Responsibilities include assisting clients and their families in navigating community support systems and developing self-advocacy skills, and assisting in the observation, assessment, development, and implementation of functional behavior assessments and crisis intervention plans.
RequirementsEducation and experience: A Bachelor s degree with a minimum of 1 year experience in human services preferred. A High School diploma with 3 years experience in human services is required. Experience with in-home services is preferred. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows is required. Must possess time management and detail-oriented skills. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid state driver s license and have own reliable transportation.
