Eastway Health & Rehab is seeking a passionate and detail‑driven Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Control Nurse (RN required) to lead training initiatives and champion a safe, healthy environment for our residents and staff. Your Role in Ensuring Wellness & Staff Education
  • Craft and implement robust infection control strategies, aligning with evidence‑based practices and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee employee health programs, streamlining processes and ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
  • Utilize expertise to address complex healthcare challenges and implement cutting‑edge solutions.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance patient care, staff safety, and overall quality.
Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare, showcasing your profound understanding of the healthcare landscape.
  • Current RN license for the state (MD), demonstrating your commitment to clinical excellence.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN) highly desirable, amplifying your healthcare acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and familiarity with competency/education software (preferred).

  • Coordinate the infection control program, conduct risk assessments, and notify relevant health departments.
  • Educate staff, physicians, and community leaders on infection prevention and control.
  • Craft and implement policies and procedures for a seamless onboarding process.
  • Support administration with employee health databases and compliance matters.
