Humana is recruiting for a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Professional to join our Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) Finance team. Successful candidates will be responsible for monthly tasks related to Hyperion database support, month end close, financial & metrics reporting, forecasting, invoice management, ad hoc reporting and will interact with others to achieve the organization’s goals.
Candidates must reside within 60 miles of Louisville, KY and be able to work onsite two days per week, based on business needs.
Essential functions- Complete financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting including FTE associate analysis, personnel expenses and other administrative expenses
- Support month-end close activities and provide variance analysis for monthly actuals and all finance submissions
- Establish, foster, and maintain excellent working relationships with peers and management within Finance and PBM organizations
- Build and update various reporting needs utilizing Hyperion and Excel
- Help business partners with PO creation, invoicing and other procurement related tasks
- Provide ad hoc support for the team and business partners, including Corporate Legal and Investor Relations
- Review and validate contractor’s work processes and submissions
- Continues to evaluate where process improvements can be made
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of forecasting and budgeting experience
- Experience with budgeting, modeling, and financial analysis with the ability to support business operations partners.
- Strong understanding Microsoft Office skills – Excel & Access specifically
- Strong written and oral communication to effectively discuss financial data and related analysis
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong desire to learn and advance
- Strong organization skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced proficiency in Excel preferred
- Experience with Hyperion or Ana Plan
- Advanced Degree or Certification (MBA, CPA, CMA)

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
