Finance Manager

VITRONIC Machine Vision is looking for a Finance Manager. This role will report to the Director of Finance. This role will also collaborate with the VITRONIC Group finance / commercial team located in Germany.

Responsibilities:

• Manage two employees – AP Specialist and AR Specialist
• Overseeing General Ledger functions within the team
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
• Assisting in preparation of monthly balance sheet, P&L financial statements
• Contributing to the development and review of operating budgets and performance projections.
• Filing and maintaining documentation for local and state sales’ tax.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Preparation of cash flow projections and active management of the organization’s cash position.
• Supporting the development and implementation of performance tracking for annual budgets.
• Support project cost control systems in line with Group requirements.
• Meet local and group processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
• Leading cross-functional projects
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 5 years managing an AP/AR team
• Minimum 7 years’ finance experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with and lead employees at various levels in the organization.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• A team player, capable of handling high degrees of ambiguity.
