Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and strategic financial leader to join our client. The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, with a primary focus on leveraging cost-based accounting to enhance profitability and optimize internal processes. This role requires a professional who can provide insightful analysis, guide strategic decision‑making, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive financial performance.

• Lead and execute financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
• Manage comprehensive cost accounting processes, including variance analysis and standard cost management.
• Direct month‑end close procedures and prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership.
• Conduct in‑depth cost analysis to inform key business decisions and identify opportunities for profitability improvement.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with operational, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure data integrity and alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within financial reporting and internal control systems.
• Manage external audits and ensure strict adherence to GAAP.
• Serve as a key strategic partner to executive leadership, translating financial data into actionable insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and cost accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in financial reporting software and accounting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically while managing a high level of detail.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
