Sr. Tax Advisor | Client Facing

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join our growing advisory practice. This is a client‑facing role responsible for delivering high‑quality tax planning, consulting, and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of business and individual clients. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships and collaborating directly with clients to solve complex tax issues.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing proactive tax planning and consulting services
• Lead and support client meetings, presentations, and tax strategy discussions
• Analyze complex tax situations and develop recommendations that align with client goals
• Research federal, state, and local tax matters and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams
• Review or support preparation of business and individual tax filings as needed to support advisory projects
• Identify tax‑saving opportunities, exposure risks, and compliance implications
• Monitor tax law changes and evaluate the impact on client situations
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Collaborate with internal partners across assurance, consulting, and tax compliance teams
• Mentor and support junior tax professionals on technical and client‑service topics

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• CPA, EA, JD, or MST strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or advisory services
technical knowledge of federal and state tax laws

• Prior client‑facing experience required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex tax concepts
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client relationships
• Proficiency with tax research tools and tax preparation software
