About the Role

Artemis Solutions has partnered with a premier manufacturing company seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a growing medical organization. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting leadership with timely and reliable financial insights.

The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting background, experience in healthcare or medical environments, and the ability to lead processes and people in a fast-paced, highly regulated setting.

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll support
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Review and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support revenue cycle accounting, including insurance payments and patient billing (as applicable)
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decisions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience in healthcare, medical, or clinical environments strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
• Proficiency with accounting systems and healthcare-related software (e.g., EMR/ERP integration is a plus)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines

• Competitive Salary – $85,000-$90,000yr (based on experience)
• PTO – 3 weeks' vacation with all major holidays
