Join EY as Indirect Tax – Sales & Use Lookback Review COE Manager.
Location:
Anywhere in Country. Handling multi‑state sales and use tax recovery projects for large, sophisticated organizations.
- Research client business operations and build long‑lasting relationships.
- Identify applicable sales and use tax exemptions and exclusions.
- Identify potential over payment opportunities or risks and communicate these to clients.
- Monitor current tax law changes to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches for sales and use tax recoveries.
- Prepare and defend sales and use tax refund claims.
- Participate in a motivated team of professionals.
- Manage a motivated team of professionals to guarantee they have the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to reach their full potential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Professional knowledge in a broad range of sales and use tax processes, concepts and tools.
- Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
- A proven record of excellence in a professional services or tax organization.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
- The ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills, and the confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment.
- An achieved CPA qualification, certification as a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, CMI designation, or be a member of a state bar.

What We Offer You- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Base salary range for U.S.: $105,100 to $192,600.
