Stratosphere Quality is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support a short‑term engagement within a manufacturing environment in Napoleon, OH.

This is an immediate need for an independent 1099 contractor expected to support on‑site operations for approximately 1–2 months. There is potential for extension or transition into a longer‑term opportunity based on performance and business needs.

• Provide on‑site quality engineering support within a manufacturing setting

• Assist with process control and production readiness

• Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts

• Participate in launch or production start‑up activities

• Support documentation, validation and reporting

• Reinforce adherence to quality standards and customer requirements

• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Understanding of quality systems and process control methods

• Familiarity with structured problem‑solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, etc.)

• Exposure to PPAP, launch support or process validation preferred

• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced plant environment

• Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience

• Experience in automotive or OEM‑driven manufacturing environments

• Six Sigma, CQE or similar certification

• 1099 Independent Contractor

• On‑site in Napoleon, OH

• Estimated duration: 1–2 months

• Potential for extension or contract‑to‑hire

• Compensation aligned with experience level
