Electrical Engineer (5–10 Years Experience) Be in Louisville area but can be fully Remote
Client is an employee-owned (ESOP) consulting engineering firm delivering innovative, cost-intelligent, and energy-efficient MEP design solutions for healthcare, education, and commercial facilities. We partner closely with architects, owners, and contractors on impactful regional projects and are known for our collaborative, team-first culture.
We are seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer (5–10 years) who enjoys hands-on design, technical ownership, and working directly with clients while continuing to grow into project leadership.
What You’ll Do- Design power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and code compliance reviews
- Develop coordinated construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Prepare specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction administration
- Support junior designers and assist with QA/QC efforts
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- 5–10 years of consulting or building systems design experience
- FE or working toward PE licensure preferred (PE a plus)
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple projects
