Overview
We’re hiring an Industrial Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in the Louisville area.
This role offers
real ownership and visibility
, influencing facility design, production flow, labor strategy, and capital investments from concept to execution.
You’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain leaders to drive operational excellence and bring data-driven improvements to life on the plant floor.
What You’ll Do- Improve productivity using time studies, process mapping, and Lean tools (5S, Kanban, TPM)
- Design plant layouts, material flow, and capacity models
- Support cost, capital, and equipment planning
- Lead industrial engineering projects from concept through implementation
- Bachelor’s in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)
- 4+ years of industrial engineering or manufacturing experience
- Strong Excel and AutoCAD skills
- Experience with facility layout, labor optimization, and process improvement
