Compensation: $130-135k Base, 15% BP, Full Relocation, Company Car, Strong benefits

The role will focus on developing company-wide strategies related to recruiting, training, and retaining a strong team in an effort to provide top‑notch quality to customers while maintaining overall project efficiency. • Manage a large limestone underground mining and storage operation 2M TPY
• Identify deficiencies and implement a plan for continuous improvement
• Effectively manage staff by setting clear performance objectives, providing regular feedback and development through training
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Direct mine and pit planning per company expectations
• Efficiently manage all mine employees, production, and equipment maintenance
• Oversee proper implementation of all safety procedures
• Ensure the pit and mine activities meet plan specifications
• Control costs to meet budgets and reduce costs to achieve savings
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure processes for quality product production and collaborate with the area QC department
• Actively reach out and be involved in the local community

• Bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geological engineering, or a similar field is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and/or engineering, plus significant experience in aggregate processing procedures and underground/surface mining.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a personnel supervisory role.
• Working knowledge of AggQC and Agg Flow is a plus.
• Working knowledge of profit and loss statements and an understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to develop leadership at the lead person and foreman levels.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, communicate, and implement best operating practices, including quality, maintenance, production, and safety excellence.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to rapidly learn different software applications.
• Possess strong basic math knowledge.
• Basic surveying and mapping skills are required.
• Proven safety record and excellent compliance with MSHA safety standards.
• Working knowledge of environmental policies, standards, and best practices.
