Project Engineering Lead
Location:
13830 Circa Crossing Drive, Lithia, FL (NA business headquarters)
The Project Engineering Lead will provide project management and engineering services to efficiently manage capital projects from inception through completion, following Mosaic’s Capital Process Management (CPM) process and supporting Mosaic's Phosphates and potential Mining Operations.
What You’ll Do- Ensure projects follow CPM process from inception through commissioning.
- Act as liaison between third-party resources, Document Control and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to Mosaic standards.
- Maintain project documentation using Mosaic’s SharePoint platform and project folder system.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly project status reports to Mosaic Leadership using the Mosaic Capital PPM System, Tier 1 Scorecards, SAP S4 HANA, Fieldglass and other templates.
- Collaborate with Procurement to develop scopes, prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bidders, conduct pre-bid meetings and manage invoices.
- Work with Project Control Team to cost control, achieving forecast accuracy >90%.
- Lead project safety initiatives, enforce use of risk assessments, SJP, field observations, holding contractors accountable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical).
- 10+ years of project management experience on medium to large scale ($20M–$100M) capital projects in industrial plants.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera P6, and/or Maximo.
- Demonstrated project management, problem‑solving, and strategic collaboration skills.
- Experience managing mechanical projects involving Engineering, Procurement, Construction.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to manage projects independently.
- Experience delivering projects in operating plant or brownfield environments.
- Risk analysis, safety integration experience.
