USA, Louisville, KY## How You'll Create Possibilities
* ** Lead Control System Design:
** Specify and engineer sophisticated control systems for metal stamping presses and related equipment—meeting specifications, budgets, and safety standards.
* ** Own the Technology:
** Architect, program, and implement PLCs, HMIs, and network configurations—primarily using
** Rockwell Automation
** products, with flexibility to integrate
** Siemens

* ** Drive Process Excellence:
** Partner with cross-functional teams to refine manufacturing processes and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
* ** Innovate & Improve:
** Analyze system performance, recommend improvements, and implement cutting-edge automation and robotics technologies.
* ** Champion Safety:
** Conduct machine safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with ANSI, NFPA, and ISO standards.
* ** Mentor & Lead:
** Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide engineering teams to deliver projects on time and at the highest quality.## What You'll Bring to Our Team

* Minimum Requirements:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
* 7+ years of experience in industrial control system design and implementation, with specific expertise in metal stamping applications and automated manufacturing equipment.
* Proven proficiency in Rockwell Automation and Siemens platforms, including PLC programming, HMI development, and network configurations.
* Strong understanding of machine safety standards (e.g., ANSI/RIA R15.06, NFPA 79, ISO 13849) and the ability to apply them to system design.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to dynamic project demands.
* Proven track record of leading complex projects and delivering results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
* ** Willingness to travel as required, typically ~25%.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering
* Experience with assembly line design, automation and customized fabrication equipment and manufacturing processes
* Hands-on experience in designing and operation of multiple axis automation equipment and/ or robots
* Prior NPI program experience
* Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Project (or equivalent)##
