Overview
Mercy Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Theology Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching theology courses to students in grades 9–12, fostering a deep understanding of Catholic teachings, Scripture, and the implications of faith in everyday life.
Responsibilities- Teach theology courses to students in grades 9–12, aligning with curriculum and religious instruction standards.
- Foster a deep understanding of Catholic teachings, Scripture, and the implications of faith in daily life.
- Collaborate with school faculty to support student spiritual and academic development.
- Engage families and the school community as appropriate.
- Certification or demonstrated experience teaching Theology at the high school level (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Catholic theology and Scripture.
- Commitment to Mercy Academy’s mission and Catholic education values.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
