MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- JCPS Retired Teacher
- Complete a JCPS online application and the state mandated online training courses. (Click the apply button in the upper right hand corner).
- A Criminal Records Check is Required – The records check fee is $54.00 and completed through an outside agency named Identigo.
Note:
Completing this step does not guarantee employment. There is a $10.00 fee for a State Child Abuse and Neglect Check.
- Successful candidates will receive notification via email that they have met the necessary qualifications to attend the Substitute Teacher Orientation along with instructions on how to complete your Criminal Records & Child Abuse and Neglect Check. This could take a couple of weeks.
