Job SummaryThe Behavioral and Social Sciences Division has openings to teach on-line and hybrid sections of Criminal Justice at Jefferson Community and Technical College.
Job DutiesThe primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach Criminal Justice courses, maintain office hours, participate in student success activities, and utilize a learning management system such as Blackboard.
Please note that this is an adjunct hiring pool. We will contact applicants available for in-person instruction based on enrollment needs.
Minimum QualificationsApplicants must have 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice/Criminology/Law and a Master's degree, or a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology/Law.
Preferred QualificationsCandidates who exhibit digital literacy and have experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Blackboard, will be given preference. Ideal candidates will have a good attendance record, demonstrated experience in teaching and student engagement, and the ability to work effectively in an academic environment making frequent contact with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
