Baptist Health Medical Louisville is Growing and seeking BC/BE general and advanced gastroenterologists for the Louisville team.
Practice Overview- Eight employed physicians and eight employed APCs support daily hospital rounds and clinic volume
- High-volume, open-access endoscopy program
- Broad referral base from Baptist Health-employed primary care providers and affiliated providers
- Weekend call is one weekend every seven weekends
- Inpatient hospital coverage:
- Physicians provide one week of daytime coverage and one week of nighttime coverage every six weeks
- Additional compensation provided per shift for hospital coverage
- Clinic and endoscopy schedules tailored to physician preference with block time
- Baptist Health Louisville provides:
- 24/24 anesthesia coverage for endoscopy procedures
- 24/24 ICU intensivist coverage, which decreases nighttime call volume
- Epic electronic health record system integrated across all hospital and practice locations
