Hand Surgeon Independent

Overview

Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is looking for a hand surgeon to provide services on site as a 1099 independent contractor. This contract position is meant to complement your current practice and typically involves treating patients at Concentra for a 4‑hour shift, either weekly or biweekly.

Concentra Advanced Specialists assist in the management of medically complex patients, expedite return to work and functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, you will provide specialist services—both non‑surgical and surgical—for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work‑related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and take an active role in case management, making a tremendous difference in the lives of patients who seek our care.

• Half a day per week or biweekly.
• Flexible scheduling with consideration of your private practice.
• Independent contractor role; compensation is determined by a revenue share model.

• Preferred experience in treating patients with work‑related injuries.
• Licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program at an accredited university.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
• Board certification or board eligibility in hand surgery.
• Must have medical malpractice insurance covering on‑site care.
