• Prepares patient for examination and treatment procedures
• Sterilizes instruments and disinfects treatment areas
• Records medical and dental history of patient
• Takes digital radiographs
• Takes dental impressions and pours models
• Instructs patients on appropriate oral hygiene techniques
• Records treatment and examination reports in patient records
• May schedule appointments, as directed
• Performs other duties as directed
• Delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient
• Maintains operational readiness of the treatment rooms
• Mixes dental materials and prepares impression materials
• Guides patients through the process before treatment as necessary

• Minimum education:
  
  High School Diploma
• Minimum experience:
  
  12 months job experience or completion of a dental assisting program
