Customer Service Representative – Dal‑Tile (Mohawk Industries)

Dal‑Tile, a leading tile and natural stone manufacturer and subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is looking for an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team. Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative will provide a variety of support, including servicing walk‑in customers, answering inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.

Primary Objective

Ensure effective and efficient coordination between the company and its customers with a high level of service and support.

Primary Functions and Scope
  • Customer account management: order entry, ordering inquiries, product information, order status, pricing, stock checks, and transportation management.
  • Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
  • Interface with internal teams and SSCs to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Experience and Knowledge Required
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 3+ years of call center or customer service experience; customer account management experience preferred.
  • Prior textile industry knowledge preferred.
Competencies

Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

Professional, conversational voice quality; ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, and guidelines.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills; moderate computer skills in Word and Excel.

Detail-oriented, able to multitask and manage priorities and time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Requires standing, using hands and arms, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasionally climbing or balancing.

Lifts up to 15–30 lbs routinely and up to 70 lbs at times; tile boxes or materials longer than 36 inches or heavier than 70 lbs require team lift.

Requires visual acuity: close, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
