Overview

The Player Care Coordinator supports Racing Louisville FC players and their families by managing off‑field logistics, relocation support, and day‑to‑day needs so players can focus on performance. This role serves as a primary player‑facing resource and works cross‑functionally with Soccer Operations, Technical, Medical, and Performance staff to deliver a consistent, high‑quality player experience aligned with the NWSL CBA and league policies.

Availability

Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, particularly during home games, away matches, and special events. This role requires regular domestic travel and occasional international travel in support of team operations.

Essential Duties
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for player off‑field needs, relocation, and lifestyle support.
  • Build trusted relationships with players while maintaining professional boundaries and strict confidentiality.
  • Support domestic and international players with onboarding, housing coordination, and community integration.
  • Assist with player arrivals, departures, and transitions in and out of the Louisville market.
  • Coordinate logistics for player travel, training, home matches, and away competitions.
  • Provide on‑site support at trainings, matches, and team travel as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between players and internal departments to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of needs.
  • Assist with immigration‑related logistics for international players in coordination with approved counsel.
  • Support player appearances, community engagements, and club initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation to support league compliance and operations.
  • Regular presence at training sessions, home matches, and club events.
  • Travel with the team for away matches and preseason camps.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working in an administrative or operational role.
  • Experience in player services, athlete support, sports operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
  • Successful completion of a pre‑employment comprehensive background check is required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States at the time of hire without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk significant distances, including up and down stairs, as required throughout the venue, as well as stand, sit, walk, bend, kneel, climb, grasp, stretch, stoop, and reach above head in conjunction with tasks.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all types of adverse weather conditions (i.e., heat, rain, cold, snow, wind).
