Position:Customer Service Representative
Job Summary:The primary objective isto provide unmatched customer experiencesthatinfluence a positive culture,safetyfirst attitude,relation shipbuilding,andimpactsrevenuegrowthandprofitability. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides support to the branch office, outside sales and serviceteamsin office administration, inside sales and customer service.
TheCSR works with the service team to develop work scopes, obtain parts pricing and lead times and develop customer quotations.
- Servesasprimarycontactforcustomers,assuringsuperiorcustomerservicelevelsare met and exceeded.
- Timelyprocessingandcommunicationofallinquiries,quotes,andorders.
- Callingcustomerstofollowuponquotesandorders,reviewsaleshistory,and provide product information and suggestions.
- Knowledgeofaccountrequirementsandspecialsituations;theabilitytogetresultsfor customers.
- Gainspecializedtechnicalknowledgeaboutourproductsandapplications.
- Maintainknowledgeofandutilizevendorportals
- MaintainappropriaterecordkeepinginERPandCRM
- Gatherandprovideinformationtosalesandmanagement team
- Workcooperativelywithotherassociatesanddepartments;bea Teamplayer.
- Provide trouble-shooting assistance;assistwithshipmentissues;resolveproductrelated problems
- Followupwithcustomerstoensurethatissuesareresolvedtotheirsatisfaction
- Befamiliarwithapprovedlistofsuppliersforgoodsandservices
- Internalandexternalcollaborationonquotesforproducts/services with customers/outside sellers
- Any other tasks assigned by lead/manager.
- Associatedegreeorequivalentfromtwo-year Collegeortechnicalschool;orHigh School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.
- Preferredexperienceandknowledgeofindustrialdistribution.
- Excellentcustomerrelationsandproblem-solving skills
- Strong verbal,written,andinterpersonalcommunicationskills
- Detail oriented,includingaccuratedataentryskills
- Capableofworkingindependently,aswellasateammember
- Interactwithco-workerswithapositiveattitudetomaintainafriendlyandproductive work environment
- Mustbeproficientin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,Word,Outlook,Teams)
- Abilitytounderstandwrittenandoral Englishandbeproficientwithcomputer,email, spreadsheets and look up documents online
