Overview
Oversee and manage editorial content for Kiosk Marketplace and Vending Times, including daily news, features, trend analyses, and expert columns. Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with each brand’s mission, audience interests, and business goals. Commission, edit, and proofread articles from staff writers, freelancers, and industry contributors. Proofread other staff members’ content as needed. Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and events teams to align content with sponsorship opportunities and brand initiatives.
Use company content performance metrics (supplied to you) to guide editorial strategy and audience development.
- Serve as the public face of brands at trade shows, conferences, webinars, and media interviews including panel and webinar participation.
- Develop partnerships and collaborations to enhance visibility.
- Work closely with the events team to develop programming for the Automated Retail & Kiosk Innovation Show, including speaker recruiting and selection. Judge awards. Act as host.
- Create pre- and post-show content to maximize event impact.
- Write and publish feature articles, news briefs, podcasts and webinars as needed. per month. Solicit and manage bloggers.
- Post published stories on our Linked In page and other platforms and monitor activity of social channels.
This role requires flexibility and initiative. Working as a team to collaborate with other editors.
