• $75,000 to $110,000 annual salary for mid-level candidates based on experience

• Up to $150,000 for a senior or lead estimator with strong local subcontractor relationships

• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates by reviewing project plans, specifications, and bid documents in Louisville, KY

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and value engineering

• Use estimating software, including Plan Swift and other industry‑standard estimating tools such as Bluebeam

• Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to maximize profitability

• Collaborate with project managers to establish and control project budgets

• Review contracts, scope of work, and change orders to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintain organized and accurate bid documentation

• Proactively pursue new commercial construction opportunities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors

• Contribute to strategic growth within the Louisville commercial construction market

• Travel locally to job sites as needed

• 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry with residential and or commercial estimating experience

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating, bidding, and preconstruction processes

• Experience with Plan Swift required

• Bluebeam experience preferred, but not mandatory

• Solid understanding of construction methods, budgeting, and project management principles

• Proven ability to perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis accurately

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of the Louisville, KY construction market is preferred

• Construction site experience preferred

• Self‑motivated professional with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
