Senior Electrical Estimator

We are seeking experienced senior electrical estimators to join our team for a leading multi-trade industrial contractor . This role offers the opportunity to lead full-cycle estimating for large-scale electrical construction projects in industrial and commercial sectors.

Locations:

• Louisville, KY
• Paducah, KY

Salary Range: $115,000–$140,000 (depending on experience and location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Own full-cycle electrical estimating:
  Develop accurate, timely estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and expenses.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and proposals to interpret bid requirements.
• Maintain supplier and subcontractor lists; prepare RFQs and secure competitive pricing.
• Draft detailed proposals, including any specialized requirements.
• Interface with clients and collaborate on electrical drawings and project details.
• Manage administrative and direct labor aspects while overseeing projects.
• Conduct post-project cost analysis and ensure adherence to quality construction standards.
• Monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and risk management.
• Collect and analyze project costs (raw materials, labor, equipment).
• Identify cost uncertainties and mitigate risks in costing models.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical construction project management and estimating.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent tradecraft certification.
• Proven track record estimating and managing industrial projects valued at $5MM or greater.
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software (preferably Accubid).
• Experience using project management software.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Scheduling software experience is preferred.
