This is a full-time travel job throughout the US with heavy focus in Louisville, KY. Ideal candidates will live in a 4 hour radius of Louisville for occasional office visits.
We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on multiple job sites. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining quality standards. The Superintendent will travel to assigned project locations and supervise daily site activities.
Superintendent Compensation & Benefits
- Salary plus OT: $75,000 - $90,000
- Bonus potential tied to project performance
- Per Diem: $35 daily (with receipts)
- Company vehicle with fuel card for business travel
- Lodging arranged through internal booking
- Background check, drug screen, and MVR required

- Supervise daily field operations, subcontractors, and crews on commercial construction sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress, schedules, and budgets to meet deadlines.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to field staff.
- Demonstrate flexibility to return home as project phases allow.
- 3+ years of commercial construction field supervision experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to lead and manage crews effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean MVR required.
