Commercial Roofing Project Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for successful management of commercial roofing projects from inception to completion and providing professionalism and efficiency throughout the commercial division and provide durable solutions to our customers. The Commercial Project Manager is also responsible for representing the company in a professional manner while adhering to the Deer Park Roofing Core Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Implement the company's vision, values, and priorities on a daily basis.

Verify that the daily schedule will allow the commercial division to operate with efficiency

Verify that projects are installed according to manufacturer specifications

Pre plan projects to meet the customers needs. (Permits, review submittals, review job with estimator, etc.)

Create foreman packets and review with superintendents.

Draft and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Attend various meetings, in field, and in the office.

Ensure that Work Orders, Submittals and Close Out Documents are extensive and comply with contract, building design and manufacturer specs.

Purchase materials based on most competitive pricing and issue accurate POs.

Complete a final walk through with the customer and determine if additional work is required

Ensures prompt and complete problem resolution with customers and teammates

Ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Hire and Terminate employees based on company needs, demands and performance.

Ensure timecards are submitted accurately and on time for all commercial employees.

Prepare and Issue Change Orders for additional work performed.

Assist Operations Director as needed.

This position requires the employee to communicate orally, use vision to see near and far, use depth perception and hear at a conversational level .

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to constantly (67-100% time on job) use hand controls. The employee will frequently (34-66% time on job) be required to reach for materials, reach above the shoulder, and use fine finger manipulation. The employee will occasionally (11-33% time on job) be required to stoop and bend, and twist. Employee will infrequently (1-10% time on job) be required to do repetitive motions, squat and kneel, push and pull materials, crawl, and use foot controls.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

2 years of experience in the roofing industry. Detailed knowledge of the construction/roofing industry.

Reasoning Development:
Follow all company Health and Safety procedures. Ability to manage and supervise employees.

Mathematical Development:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers and use geometry.

Language Development:
Ability to read manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak using correct English.

Licensures and

Certifications:

Valid drivers license is required.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field.
