VICE PRESIDENT OF CONSTRUCTION
We Search People are looking for a senior level construction professional to join our client based in the Louisville, KY area. They are a very well established, award winning Developer & General Contractor, who are offering a long-term permanent position with an excellent culture. This role offers a strong basic salary plus a generous benefits package and bonus.
THE COMPANYOur client is a very well established and respected real estate General Contractor, with offices and projects throughout the South East including IN, KY, TN, NC & FL. They have won multiple awards for their projects and leadership within the industry. They focus on Multi-Family commercial projects and have aggressive growth plans.
THE ROLEThe VP of Construction will be responsible for the overall construction management of ground-up Multi-Family projects.
The successful candidate must be professional, integrity-minded, and a personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the construction management of ground-up Multi-Family projects from start to finish.
- Provide strategic direction, oversight, and coordination with project teams, owners, and partners.
- Drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence across projects.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture and mentor other leaders.
To be considered for this position you will possess the following skills, attributes, and abilities:
- Experience in a leadership position (Director of Construction, VP of Construction, etc.).
- 10+ years of experience on ground-up commercial construction projects with a value around $50M.
- Multi-Family project experience.
- College or university degree in a construction-related field is desirable.
- Pro-active, strong personality with excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
This role offers an excellent base salary plus a generous benefits package, bonus, and long-term progression to President of Construction.
