We excel in preconstruction planning and MEP expertise with a dedicated project team focused on multiple markets. We also have an in‑house Architectural Woodwork & Specialty Fabrication Division that ships/in  and installs nationally.

This position will be on‑site daily for a project located in Louisville, KY.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager/Project Engineer at our Charlotte office.

• Read documents and contracts.
• Write subcontracts.
• Negotiate and award subcontracts.
• Review and prepare subcontractors’ scope of work.
• Develop and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Attend meetings and prepare minutes.
• Review and prepare change orders.
• Develop and track submittals, RFIs and cost reports.
• Maintain owner relations.

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience managing construction projects valued at $40+ million and up.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience working in Procore.
• Multifamily experience required.
• Computer skills:
  Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and P6 highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Louisville subcontractor market.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have the ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status.
• Ability to create material take‑offs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Should be highly organized, highly motivated and a detail‑driven problem solver.
• College degree preferred, but not required.
