, you’ll manage job performance, revenue, expenses within the assigned work area of the associated underground construction or utilities, in a safe and effective manner.

What you’ll do
  • Conduct quality inspections during the installation process to ensure work meets plans and specifications
  • Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards
  • Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution
  • Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved
  • Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results
  • Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management
  • Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
  • Other duties as assigned
What you’ll need

Qualifications:

What you’ll need

You are at least 18 years old

You are authorized to work in the United States for this company

You have a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years utility construction experience

You have one (1) to two (2) years proven experience supervising employees and managing crews

You are able to maintain a safe work environment

You are able to proficiently plan, prioritize and organize workload efficiently

You are able to effectively communicate orally or in written form with management, internal and external customers.

You have a valid drivers license

You have an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company

You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends; and for emergencies or on-call

You are proficient with general computer knowledge; and knowledge in Microsoft Office

Physical abilities & exposures

Routinely: stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low. The employee will be standing, walking, climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or stooping while on shift. May be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne pathogens, outside weather conditions which can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold temperatures;

inclement weather such as rain, snow, sleet and dust as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy roads, and fog

Occasionally: lift up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance, long driving and sitting
