Overview
Talis Group’s client is an employee-centric manufacturer. They are adding a Customer Account Representative to their team. This person will support the sales team, as well as be responsible for customer service, invoicing, coordinating with logistics, and production. This is NOT a phone sales position. This role sits at the intersection of sales, operations, supply chain, and customer service. They will ensure seamless order execution, accurate forecasting, and develop strong customer relationships.
The salary range is $70 – $80K plus full benefits package, including 401K.

Responsibilities- Manage and monitor customer orders from beginning to delivery.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and distributors.
- Coordinate with Sales on orders and issues.
- Provide customers with pricing and transportation costs, including invoicing.
- Project individual customer requirements
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Track shipments
- Prepare forecasts of upcoming needs.
- Use multiple spreadsheets and systems to keep track of all activity.
- Support customer complaint investigations and corrective actions in coordination with Quality and Operations
- Documentation, tracking, reporting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3 years’ successful experience with customer service
, account management, or commercial logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize job demands.
- Effective communication skills a must.
- Experience using an ERP system (Sage, a plus)
- Strong computer skills:
Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. - Background in logistics administration or financial analysis could be beneficial.
