The role of the Print and Financial Services Specialist Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize project tasks associated with solutions related to the Patient Tools. The Specialist is responsible for coordinating the efforts of project resources— including vendors —to deliver projects according to plan. The Specialist also oversees quality control throughout the duration of the project and ensures new merchant accounts, boarding support, and maintenance changes to existing merchants are completed accurately.
This includes researching and resolving exceptions to account‑setup rules and policies, verifying readiness for new merchant applications, and performing quality‑control audits of merchant accounts.
- Comprehend data dictionaries, file structures, and file formats.
- Understand Waystar solutions and how they apply to client business practices.
- Direct and manage multiple client projects, facilitating timely resolution.
- Act as liaison between the vendor and Primary Project Manager.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
- Identify and resolve service disruptions promptly.
- Escalate incidents that compromise project deliverables to appropriate personnel.
- Execute tasks and deliverables on schedule.
- Meet project financial objectives in line with estimated project revenue.
- When the Specialist is the primary point of contact, define scope, goals, and deliverables that support operational business goals.
- Communicate project expectations with client and team members.

- Travel may be required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Medical practice experience.
- Experience with implementation of system software.
- Demonstrated experience in project management.
- Ability to multi‑task and prioritize effectively.
- Serve as liaison between client and internal project team.
- Adapt to various levels and possess influencing skills at all levels.
- Quick learner and self‑motivated.
- Proficient problem‑solving skills, process‑driven, and team‑orientated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functionality.
