The Midwest Brand Engagement Team Member, located in Louisville, KY, will own commercial development and brand execution across the markets of Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Wisconsin for the Chicken Cock Whiskey brand. This is a field-first role responsible for expanding on‑premise distribution, increasing menu placements, driving education, and building consumer advocacy while contributing to national brand initiatives.
This team member would additionally be responsible for hosting key partners, distributors, accounts, influencers, or otherwise VIP guests, as well as assisting with occasional event execution at Chicken Cock Whiskey’s brand homes, Circa 1856, situated in Bardstown and Louisville, KY on an as‑needed basis. Hosting responsibilities would include, but are not limited to, barrel selections, portfolio samplings, and educational opportunities with VIP guests.

- Secure new on‑premise accounts and expand permanent placements throughout the Southeast territory.
- Drive POD growth and secure strategic cocktail menu features.
- Conduct distributor ride‑withs and collaborate with sales teams to increase depletion velocity.
- Support retail barrel sales and execute high‑impact retail programs.
- Lead in‑person and virtual barrel tastings, staff training, Distributor GSMs, and whiskey dinners.
- Assist with hosting VIP guests and commercial impact opportunities at either one of Chicken Cock Whiskey’s brand homes, Circa 1856, in Louisville and Bardstown, KY.
- Serve as a trusted product expert for bartenders, managers, distributors, and consumers.
- Reinforce brand standards and CCW storytelling consistently across all markets.
- Host pop‑ups, account features, and regional consumer activations.
- Secure social media brand features from on‑premise and retail partners.
- Support key market media opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Execute and support one major national event per quarter.
- Contribute to content creation, innovation initiatives, and best‑practice sharing.
- Deliver timely recaps and documentation from market activity, events, and programs.
- 3+ years in beverage alcohol sales, brand ambassador, or market management roles.
- 3+ years in direct on‑premise/bar management experience.
- Established beverage relationships within Kentucky and the broader Midwest preferred.
- Proven ability to drive account openings, menu placements, and in‑market activations.
- Well‑spoken and articulated; comfortable leading trainings, tastings, and consumer experiences.
- Travel Requirement: regiment should follow a split of 60% home market, 30% broader markets, and 10% national event execution & initiatives.
