Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented AR Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for accounts receivable functions, supporting general accounting activities, and ensuring accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Process and post customer payments including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions
- Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies and payment inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing activities including account reconciliations and reporting
- Prepare AR reports and provide analysis to management as needed
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Support general accounting tasks and other finance department responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor’ degree in Accounting or Finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Paid vacation time: 1 week after 90 days of employment
