Tax Senior

We have a great opportunity for a
Senior Tax Accountant in our Louisville, KY office
. This position offers outstanding potential for growth and the opportunity to work with clients of various sizes, stages and industries throughout the region.

• Assisting in training of staff accountants.
• Assisting in tax planning for clients.
• Conducting research on technical accounting and tax issues.
• Communicating with clients to identify and address their tax and consulting needs.
• Developing external relationships and building a network of peers.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of all client matters.
• Performing other accounting and tax duties as needed and assigned by supervisory personnel.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a public accounting firm (within the last 7 years) including preparation of individual, corporation and partnership tax returns.
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA license a plus, but not required.
• Well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles and tax.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail and organization skills.
• Team focus.
