Job Description

In the role of Part-time Bookkeeper, you will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your core responsibilities will include managing the general ledger, performing balance sheet reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. Your expertise in Quick Books and other accounting software will enhance data entry and analysis efficiency. Strong organizational and communication skills are vital as you collaborate with team members and support various accounting functions, thereby contributing to Current
360's financial health.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Process and reconcile AP/AR
  • Assist with tax preparation and filing
  • Generate monthly financial statements and reports (as needed)
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and complete
Experience
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of tax and corporate accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Quick Books (REQUIRED)
  • Familiarity with technical accounting concepts and financial reports
Skills
  • Operate in a job costing environment, including assigning billing and costs to specific projects
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients
