Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will support various accounting operations, including data review, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate records in spreadsheets. This position requires strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Review contract data and input accurate information into spreadsheets.

- Update values based on current rate adjustments and ensure data integrity.

- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including processing invoices.

- Utilize Quick Books to manage financial records and track transactions.

- Conduct thorough data entry to ensure completeness and precision.

- Verify and reconcile financial documents to maintain accurate records.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting projects.

- Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data.

- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with exceptional accuracy.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation.

- Ability to analyze and update data based on rate changes.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
