Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounts Receivable/ Collections
Artemis Solutions has partnered with a leading Medical Institute that is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting leadership with reliable financial data.
The Bookkeeper will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, consistency, and organization while collaborating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Record daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Support payroll processing and expense tracking
- Generate basic financial reports for management review
- Maintain organized documentation and financial files
- Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams as needed
- Support CPA or accounting partners with requested documentation
- Prior bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency with accounting software (Quick Books, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses is a plus
