Overview

The Staff Accountant will support financial operations including accounts payable, account reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue cycle optimization. This role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis while contributing to cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily accounting functions and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analyses.
  • Coordinate with other departments to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the management of the revenue cycle to optimize cash flow.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
Essential Functions
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work across departments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
Experience
  • Minimum two years of healthcare accounting experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet browsers.
  • Demonstrated excellence in previous accounting roles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
