Overview
Resident Care Manager (LPN/RN) directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for residents within the Assisted Living Department. Responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion. May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

Pay: $84,000-$88,000
Responsibilities- Monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assessing levels of care whenever there is a change in condition and/or to determine whether a resident is no longer appropriate for the setting, notifying the Assistant Living Director as required
- Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find an appropriate associate to assist
- Supervising departmental operations on a day-to-day basis under the guidance of the department director or Executive Director
- Respond tactfully and timely to all residents, family members and/or staff
- May be responsible for supervising resident medication programs
- May monitor all physician orders and ensure they have been followed timely and accurately
- Assist with scheduling for Care associates
- Performs other related duties as required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- High school graduate required; college course work preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required
- One to three years’ experience working in senior care
- Must have or be able to obtain the appropriate State license required by law if required
- CPR Certified preferred
- Basic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office applications, internet-based and custom
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
