This position is responsible for purchasing materials for domestic and international jobs, according to project‑defined scopes and specifications. This person’s focus will be the procurement of electrical hardware components, steel, pipe, or consumables. In addition, this position is expected to become well‑versed in Roestrac, Viewpoint, and company processes.

• Computer skills and an in‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows‑based programs are required.
• Effective time management skills and change management abilities.
• Interpersonal interaction with co‑workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
• Generate supplier purchase orders, including vendor acceptance.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors.
• Receive RFQs from Professional Services Departments and work directly on substitutions and pricing.
• Work closely with Project Managers on approvals and buyout reports.
• Work closely with Accounting Department on revisions and credits.
• Follow purchase from PO creation to delivery, following up and expediting as needed.
• Coordinate deliveries from vendor to required ship‑to location with Project Coordinator.
• Procure for other Roeslein entities.
• Enter data into purchasing and accounting systems.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
• Represent the organization with professionalism, resolving issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Follow good housekeeping practices.
• Comply with Roeslein & Servtech core values for safe and efficient operation and respectful relationships.
• Perform all work in compliance with company standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Safety is essential; all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field is strongly preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, exposure to purchasing, supply chain, or logistics is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with raw materials (steel, pipe, electrical components, etc.) is a plus.
• Comfortable learning of company‑specific purchasing software, Roestrac, and accounting software, Viewpoint.
• Ability to negotiate daily purchases with vendors.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong math skills and confidence working with and confirming numbers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.
• Adherence to the Company’s attendance policy.

Work is performed in an office and in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
