Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver‑metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104‑bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department.
Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.
The Activities Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital’s inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activities Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psycho educational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who specialize in Art, Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Art Therapy required.
Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts MUST have or be eligible for R‑DMT or REAT.
This is a Full‑Time 32‑36 hour a week position.

MUST be registered as an Art Therapist (ATR). Preferred:
Board‑Certified in specialty. Bachelor’s Degree in Specialty Therapy required. One year experience in working with a mental health population preferred.
