Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Space Systems team. As an intern, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and operations of innovative space technologies and systems. You will work closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals on projects related to spacecraft design, mission analysis, system integration, and testing.
- Assist with the analysis, modeling, and simulation of space systems and components.
- Support the design, assembly, integration, and testing of space hardware and software.
- Conduct research to improve system performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
This is a hands‑on opportunity to gain real‑world experience in the exciting field of space systems engineering while contributing to cutting‑edge advancements in space technology.
Qualifications- Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Mgt, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with CAD tools, programming languages, or simulation software is a plus.
- Passion for space exploration and technology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. Intern hourly rates are determined based upon the technical/non‑technical nature of the position and years of experience/education. Min (Hourly): $22 Max (Hourly): $28
