Senior Sourcing Manager – Contract Manufacturing (3PM)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Pay Rate: $50-53/hr on W2
OverviewA leading North American food & beverage organization is seeking a Senior Sourcing Manager to join its Third-Party Manufacturing (3PM) Procurement team
. This role will manage the Contract Manufacturing supply base across multiple business units, including Plant-Based, Yogurt, Beverage, and Innovation portfolios.
The position plays a critical role in supplier scouting, sourcing strategy development, supplier & contract management, project execution, and budget oversight
, while also supporting the company’s sustainability and impact initiatives.
This opportunity is ideal for a strategic sourcing professional with strong cross-functional leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
, and experience in Contract Manufacturing and/or Direct Materials sourcing
.
- Develop sourcing strategies through in-depth market studies to identify best practices, risks, gaps, and opportunities
- Identify and onboard new suppliers while leveraging the existing supplier base
- Conduct supply market analysis and cost-driver assessments for key spend categories
- Evaluate cost proposals and ensure alignment with market conditions
- Support growth initiatives through supplier partnerships and Make-or-Buy analyses
- Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) to drive performance, quality, innovation, and cost optimization
- Lead RFQs/RFPs, analyze proposals, and make supplier recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Negotiate commercial terms including cost, quality, service levels, and timelines
- Lead contract negotiations and ratification in collaboration with Legal teams
- Partner with R&I and Marketing teams to assess manufacturing capabilities and economic feasibility
- Support project implementation while adhering to budgets, schedules, and quality standards
- Monitor and communicate project status against supplier contractual commitments
- Define and implement standard KPIs for assigned suppliers
- Evaluate supplier performance and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage overall Contract Manufacturing spend
- Establish budgets, track variances, and mitigate financial risks
- Lead the U.S. Third-Party Manufacturing (3PM / Co-Manufacturer) team within assigned categories
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations Management
, or related field - 3–6 years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Contract Manufacturing, Operations, or similar roles
- Experience in the food-processing industry
, particularly with perishable products, is a strong asset - Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, matrixed, multicultural environment
Language: English required;
French is a plus
