Position: TES-Logistics Warehouse Specialist (Part Time)
Location: Fort Polk

Valiant is looking for a TES-Logistics Warehouse Specialist (Part Time) to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONISIBLITIES: Performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the established storage plan procedures, supply acquisition, and battery charging requirements; daily duties include, but are not limited to:

key custodian, record keeping, acquisition of consumable supplies/equipment for rotational requirements,
Verifying supplies (or equipment) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
Delivery of materials to various storage and operating locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials and equipment.
Preparing MILES equipment for shipment, charging batteries for rotational use.
Warehouse Specialist must comply with good housekeeping rules and assist others as needed; also may be required to assist in washing vehicles.
Receive equipment out of maintenance as needed.
Required to operate hand or power trucks or forklifts while performing warehousing duties.
Issue and turn-in TES equipment to Rotational Training Units.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High School Diploma or equivalent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Functional abilities with basic mathematics.
Functional abilities with computers including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to multi-task and work independently when needed.
Must be able to work all shifts.
Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries.
Individual must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening, will be subject to random drug screening.
Must possess a valid Louisiana State Driver's License (or equivalent).
Employment contingent upon favorable background investigation.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience as a warehouse worker or previous military experience working in battalion-size (or equivalent) logistics (S4) operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be in good physical condition capable of prolonged sitting, standing and walking.
Must be able to repeatedly lift heavy or bulky objects up to 25 LBS.
