Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to report to the Shipping & Receiving Manager. This position is responsible for handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are properly prepared for shipment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable using warehouse technology, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments for accuracy and damage
- Prepare and process outbound shipments in a timely manner
- Strap skids and securely wrap pallets for safe transport
- Accurately place shipping labels on products and pallets
- Operate barcode scanners to track inventory and shipments
- Maintain inventory control and perform cycle counts as needed
- Enter shipments into Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Enter inventory data into ERP systems
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data entry
- Communicate with carriers and internal departments regarding shipment status
- Keep warehouse areas clean and organized
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to operate barcode scanners and basic warehouse equipment
- Basic computer skills required
- Experience with ERP systems and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) preferred
- Basic math skills (counting, measuring, weighing)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform moderate physical activity for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
