Overview
As a Truck Driver – Level 1 here at Solstice, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials to various destinations. You will ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate logs, and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of our supply chain operations, ensuring that our products reach their destinations safely and on time.
Your role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service and operational excellence that Solstice is known for.
- Safely operate and drive a company truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and balanced.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and guidelines.
- Hauling various Hydrofluorocarbons (HFC’s)
- Over-the-road (OTR) dedicated long-haul driving (home weekly)
- Handling of Shipping Documents
- Unload product
- Spot loaded and empty trailers
- Drive designated routes as assigned
- Ability to drive in the 48 Continental United States and Canada
You must have:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience OR 1-3 years of (semi) over the road driving experience (military time applied)
- Must have a valid CDL with X endorsement or Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and be DOT certifiable. Verifiable tanker truck driving experience as stated on Military Driver’s License with the ability to obtain required certifications
- 6 months tanker experience (or can be trained)
- Able to obtain TWIC Care
We value:
- No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations.
- No more than one chargeable/preventable accident in the last 5 years.
- No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years or no more than 1 preventable accident in the past 5 years
- Ability to stay out for approximately 3 to 7 days
