Overview

This position is hybrid and requires reasonable onsite presence in Dubuque, IA as needed. Relocation package is not included. We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support the Sage X3 ERP system and RFGen Warehouse Management System (WMS). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both Sage X3 and RFGen, experience with ERP/WMS integrations and warehouse operations, and a track record of ensuring smooth and efficient operation of core business systems.

Responsibilities — Essential Duties
  • RFGen Development and Customization:
    Design, develop, and customize RFGen applications to meet business needs, including barcode scanning, inventory management, receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse processes.
  • Integration with Sage X3:
    Develop and maintain integrations between RFGen and Sage X3, ensuring seamless data flow between the two systems.
  • Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to assess usability needs, requirements, and specifications for requested programs or applications.
  • Analyze existing program logic to identify causes of malfunctions; modify logic to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design and program applications to meet identified needs and coordinate with project owners to ensure timelines are met.
  • Perform diagnostic testing on programs, including reading code or running diagnostic software to detect syntax or logic errors.
  • Modify, replace, or remove code to resolve problems and errors.
  • Facilitate installation of software and monitor performance and effectiveness after installation.
  • Create and/or modify end-user documentation, training materials, and technical documents.
  • Provide training to end users on the effective use of applications and programs.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in related technology and programming.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and SSIS packages.
  • Develop and manage Power BI and SSRS reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft technologies; assist in enhancements of new and existing systems and end-to-end system development using .NET, C#, VB, REST API, and SOAP protocols.
  • Integrate, manage, and maintain wireless mobile data collection operations and processes, including ERP integration.
  • Demonstrate organization, attention to detail, and ability to complete unsupervised tasks; work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with department heads and team members, maintaining professionalism and diplomacy as needed.
Required Experience
  • 5 or more years of programming experience; C#, VB, and REST API are ideal.
  • 5 or more years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 1 or more years of experience with Power BI and/or SSRS reporting.
  • Experience with any ERP, MES, and/or WMS systems.
Required Education
  • Advanced education in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience or certifications.
