We’re seeking a Measurement Technician II to support safe, accurate, and compliant measurement and control of natural gas systems. In this hands-on field role, you’ll inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot measurement, control, and analytical equipment critical to pipeline and facility performance. You’ll work supporting reliable gas flow, data integrity, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and compliance teams.
Role Overview- Perform gas flow and meter calculations to ensure accurate measurement and reporting
- Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of gas meters, including
- Test, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pressure-limiting devices
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic control devices and gas analyzers
- Perform routine odorizer maintenance per SOP, including setting injection rates and reporting odorant usage and concentration
- Operate and maintain power supply systems supporting measurement and instrumentation
- Identify pipe, valve, and fitting size and wall thickness using mechanical or electronic measurement tools
- Ensure electrical installations comply with applicable codes and standards
- Install small-diameter instrument piping and tubing per specifications
- Procure materials required for instrumentation and maintenance activities
- Write, review, and maintain gas handling and operating procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in a relevant technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of directly relevant training and experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Working knowledge of facility maintenance and pipeline operations
- Proficiency with standard office and reporting software applications
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
